


The Academy has been around for over a decade now, and we think this is a great time to reconnect alumni with the organization. We’ve started an alumni organization, but not something quite as formal as an “association”. Whether you marched in The Academy for one year or seven years, aged-out with The Academy or finished with another corps, we want to welcome you back to The Academy and offer ways for you reconnect with the organization and your fellow alumni.
If you’re interested in helping us grow this alumni organization, we’d love to get you involved. We’re only at the beginning stages of our project, but we’re always looking for your input and extra help. The vision of this organization is a grassroots effort where anyone and everyone who wants to contribute is more than welcome to help at whatever level they can. Drum corps that have been around for a while rely heavily on support from their alumni. Not only is financial support incredibly important to sustaining our organization, but The Academy is always in need of eager volunteers. If you have any special skills that The Academy can benefit from, let us know! Help The Academy extend its tour by donating to the 2012 Extended Tour Alumni Campaign. Our goal is find at least 200 alumni who are willing to donate at least $100 in 2012 and beyond. You can make a one-time contribution or break your donation up into monthly contributions! Just think, $100 broken up into monthly contributions starting today equals about two trips to Starbucks per month. Who is willing to contribute towards our $20,000 goal? Who is willing to help The Academy finally have a full tour?
